Learn how to make adobe and andean textiles

You might get dirty! Take note that, if you want, you will work with mud to make adobe.

She is the local guide of the community. Along with other families, she has been working for 8 years in tourism, training to give a better service and to improve their life quality. What she likes most about her job is that everyone gets to share and exchange ideas, culture and traditions. There is always something to learn from each other.

Come and learn the ancestral techniques of textile and adobe making. First, you will participate in the entire textile process, from dying the wool with natural dyes to the final design. Then, you will make adobe, a construction material made of mud and straw, commonly used in the Andes region. Important temples were made out of this material and are still standing.
